Dawn Neuenschwander, Owner
Born in Saginaw, Michigan, Dawn moved to Southern California in 6th grade and eventually moved to the mountains in the mid 70’s. She received her AA in Commercial Art and also studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
Dawn started Neu-Art Studio in her mountain home in 1993.
Dawn is known for being very detail oriented and has a very strong design sense. She especially enjoys graphic design because “It’s how my brain works. I love the precision and artistry that graphic design affords me.” When asked what projects she enjoys the most she can’t seem to pick just one. She feels that each medium has its own set of challenges. “My work is quite varied and I enjoy that.”
One of her hobbies is browsing through her beloved Sign Craft Magazine. She often gets information that she can’t find anywhere else. It’s chock full of useful information and resources for sign makers just like her.
When not in the office, Dawn is very active in the mountain communities. She is a member of both the Lake Arrowhead and Crestline Chambers, and volunteers for countless local organizations including the US Forest Service’s Wildfire Prevention Division.
